Contemporary dance

A fun fun afternoon with a group of contemporary dancers! Laura, cousin of a friend of mine, was thinking of doing some photos of her and her friends' silhouette and make cards for Christmas! What a FUN idea! So I said I would love to help!

Here are the photos then!

So the session went from just the silhouette shot to a fun strobe fun session. Anyway! Here you go.

Rainbow blossom the night-Sri Lankan Dance Show

It was an great opportunity to document this humble yet brilliant group of Sri Lankan performers from Montreal. I was notified about this dance show by my good friend Francesca who is also a talented dancer/singer/musician from this group. Needless to say, the experience was... spectacularly colourful! The dancers put on a gorgeous night and beautiful dances. My shutter did not stop for a good 3.5 hrs. The editing was a tough one, since the entire show's name is color, from red to purple, blue to green, yellow to orange, the stage light unravelled the entire spectrum in front of my eyes.
